why do they have such a hard time getting elite FAs? great facilities, big city, rich owner top 5 coach who plays a free wheeling offense. cuban can be annoying and too involved but he's rich as hell. i don't get it.

I dont think the Mavs has been very active this offseason. Has there really been any great players that will change the way mavs are going? Either they can crash and burn or sign some good players and they make the playoffs.

The reason why it is not too is because no one has signed yet. They can't until July 9th(?)....
So every team can tweak negotiations/agreements. But they won't back out of the deal.

As a Mavs fan I can say it's def Cuban. He has good intentions but he's annoying as shit and he's meddling. If I were a player I would find him annoying and I would not want to play with him. He reminds me of Donald Trump or the Kardashians/Hiltons in the sense that he's rich and he thinks that that means he should be famous. His lame ass TV shows make him look like a clown. I love the Mavs and he did bring them a championship but he's out of touch and I think it's time that he and Donnie step back and put someone else in there.
