    Tied at halftime.
Greeks are cleary nervous with the environment, they are missing open shots.

Sima, a guy who as 0 offensive reportoire is banging on the boards and getting the better of the interior players from Greece (which no one expected). 16 pontos for him.

For the Greeks, Charalampopoulos is warming up on offense even playing injuried.
I'm still trying to catch the name of the greek PG, really good.
    Dorsey needs to step up.

Greece beat Spain 70 - 59. Beat them with absolute ease. Spain just tried to clear the point difference to make it look closer in garbage time.

The semifinals match ups are set:

    Upper bracket:

    USA versus Greece

    Lower bracket:

    Croatia versus Turkey

    About the games...

Croatia is playing without 2 of its 3 best players, one of them being its best player overall.

Greece is playing without 2 of its 5 best players, both of which make up its starting back court. Their 2nd best player overall is also playing at about 65-70 percent capacity, due to an injury.

So much for all of that endless bullshit talked about in this forum by the TROLLS about how "Canada and Australia have the 2nd and 3rd best young talent in the world."
I wonder what chance the 6-10 Giles has against the 7-1+ Papagiannis?

As ALWAYS, FIBA gives the USA the EASY schedule. So they get the EARLY game and get to rest.

But THIS time, Greece was READY FOR THIS BULLSHIT.

So, since Spain was absolutely no threat at all to beat Greece, they got to rest Big George practically the whole game.

Same with the other 7 footer Tsalmpouris.

The only issues Greece has are the usual reffing in favor of USA (as ALWAYS), and that Charalampopoulos, their 2nd best player, is playing with a bad injury. If he was 100% healthy, then I am sure USA would be easily beaten, despite the fact the refs will try to help them.

But Greece already did the smart thing and rested Papagiannis, so he will be ready.

Do you honestly think that the posters on this forum are concerned about the talent levels of Canada and Australia (or Greece, Spain, or Lithuania)?

The rest of the world will continue to contribute the Mirotic's, Dellavedova's, and Splitter's to the NBA, but little else.

And the USA will continue to "contribute" the "MVPs of this world" like Derrick Rose and Stephen Curry.............for the rest of the world to laugh at.

    WTF is your point?

And lots of posters here have bragged about how Canada and Australia have the 2nd and 3rd most "young talent in the world".

YOU NEED TO PUT DOWN THE CRACK PIPE
