SA isn't going to dismantle it's team this offseason to the point it can offer market and Aldridge isn't going to spurn everyone else to wait till they do. It's not about dismantling the team. The Spurs are shopping Splitter regardless. and Danny Green/Cojo/Diaw/Mills/Ginobili (Green mainly, because of how strong other teams are coming on to him) leaving are ultimately up to them and not the Spurs Front Office.


And Aldridge wouldn't be waiting, If the Spurs shop Splitter it will be in the draft, and Aldridge won't be able to negotiate with teams until July 1. In this scenario there is no waiting involved. If anything the Spurs would be waiting on LMA, not the other way around.


Also after the season, Pop mentioned the Spurs will be making "big changes" to the roster this offseason.
