Ball was clearly out of the cylinder and it should have counted.
See, this play was strange to me. It was above the cylinder and it was obvious it was going to miss but I still thought it was in the cylinder. Like, it would have still hit the rim IMO even though it was obviously going to miss..Does that still count as "in the cylinder"?

It was 100% the correct call. If any part of the ball in still in the cylinder it is a goaltend and it wasn't remotely close to being out.

This. It was the most blatant and egregious error the refs made all game.

Not looking good for the Warriors.
Cavs getting home cooking these next 2 games!
Sucks for Klay, looks like he's fouling out tonight.

They conveniently left out the horrible call on Livingston

Not true.
c. For goaltending to occur, the ball, in the judgment of the official, must have a chance to score.

Once the center of the ball has left the rim, it clearly has 0 chance to score. This has also been consistently called since the goaltend rules were implemented.

You saw that too? I thought that I was drunk when I saw that happened.

I really wish the league would address ALL the missed calls or NONE of them. Seems very ESPN-ish to "cherry pick" just a handful.
