He is about to lose to a bunch of perennial chokers with a championship squad
If he loses, he falls out of my TOP 10

Certainly, not.

all depends on who they sign to me...if they go after LMA, TD stays to educate and grow him into a superstar. if they sign Gasol, he should retire but TD is so useful still that I can still see 2 yrs out of him as backup PF.
imagine the Spurs put out a front court with:
Splitter
Gasol/LMA
TD
Kawhi
Parker
that's pretty crazy to fathom, tho rarely to see knowing Pop wouldn't likely do that

LMA would be a worthy succesor to Duncan...though im not fully satisfied with his defensive output.
maybe get Parker off the books and get someone better and cheaper at PG (there are plenty of them)

it would be wise for them to try and move Parker, he has 3yrs and 40mil left with the Spurs, but I just don't see it happening. maybe a restructure to help them stay atop is what will likely happen.

Lol, really can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. If not, not everybody gets to play the likes of the Bucks, Bobcats, and Celtics in the first round

Clippers will find a way to fvck it up.
It'd be a massive shock if they end up winning.

Could be, but he likely won't be done for a few more weeks.

Re: game 7 vs Clippers, could be Duncan's LAST game.
I would be surprised if he retired. Almost all of the advanced metrics outside of pure on/off stats place him as still amongst the top 30 players in the NBA. The Spurs have enough young talent that they should still be able to compete next year. He still looks good. The team still looks good. As such, I don't see him retiring unless he suffers some type of serious injury this post-season.

Actually, this is the last year left on his contract.
I don't see TD retiring after this season because he hasn't really slowed down much. He's still the Spurs most consistent player, he just doesn't have as many big games as he used to.
