Default Playoff match ups ... (home dome advantage)

With the exception of Washington kicking the dog sheet out of Toronto, the higher home teams have been killing their lower level counterparts (with the Spurs against the Clippers being the only special case). The Raps are a pretty solid team when they play at home, and those fans can get crazy ... couple that with the Wizards being the worst road team of all other teams in the playoffs (both conferences) IMO makes the Washington V. Toronto match up a highly unusual exception bc like I said, the higher seeds have been dominating the lower seeds as expected, but it makes for very uninteresting basketball.

If the NBA were still in the First Round best of five era, most of these match ups would virtually already be over. Back to the San Antonio and Clipper series - this doesn't surprise me. This has become the norm for the Clippers. Do well in the regular season and stink it up come playoff time. This is their trademark. This is what makes them, and in time it will be what defines this team in the NBA history books and will be talked about for awhile, mainly bc of the talent they have and because the Clippers have never really been a worthwhile franchise will worthwhile players that COULD potentially win something and now that they are that team they can't get the job done. The league's best point guard with one of the league's best big men and as usual, a likely First Round exit. Highly disappointing to say the least.

Some of this is a product of injuries out west.

And of course the east being the east.
