I remember that day vividly. It was so full of anticipation and marked a huge curveball in the league and turned the Bulls into contenders again (they were a 5th-6th place in 95'--Grant had left too by then--but with MJ they went 13-4, a 63 win pace). A great day in Bulls history.

    You are factually incorrect:

Stats in 1995 ECSF - Bulls vs. Orlando

    Jordan: 31 PPG / 48% FG
    Penny.: 18 PPG / 44% FG

Jordan destroyed Penny worse than he did Drexler or Dominique.

How many points did he score in his first comeback game?

Jordan tried to have a Disney-storybook return where the legend returns and takes his team back to the promised land, but ends up losing in the 2nd round

He did go on to win more rings in the next 3 seasons than LeBron's won in 11

Did HE win them or did Pippen/Rodman/Phil win them?

The video that autoplayed after this was Jordan's 55 point game at MSG. It was awesome seeing Riley getting worked up. Also Ewing lays out Jordan. And later Pip blocks the shit out of Ewings shot. Pretty compelling ball. The entire game was close!

I remember this play where MJ blew by Penny and then dunked on Horace Grant - MJ had to get his revenge on Horace for leaving the Bulls.

That Orlando team was so stacked with Shaq and Penny, yet Jordan swept them in 1996 and averaged 31 PPG on 50% FG in the process.
