We have dunk stats from the 80's and 90's from old Philadelpia 76'er media guides, and the only 1st option wing players that routinely get over 100 dunks per season have been MJ, Dr. J, Wade, Lebron, Durant, Dominique and Drexler.

Guys like Kobe, Tmac, Westbrook and Paul George get literally half the number of dunks each season because they don't combine their style and hops with enough power and/or skill.. Jordan's dunks over David Robinson are a great example of his big-man type power and style combined with guard-like quickness.
Its because Jordan has absurdly big hands that he is able to finish like that around the rim.

So you think Russell has the same DPOY defense MJ had? Including size and oh... IQ, intangibles...

    Funny how nobody mentioned defense...

MJ would have to be stripped naked from most of his abilities and mental edge for comparison with Westbrook to work.

Sometimes i wonder if retards on this forum understand this is a BASKETBALL forum. I't athletic this athletic that, why don't theses f@gs just go to some athletics forum?

Yes let's remove the basketball skills from all the NBA players and turn this forum on a gay forum... it's not like it's almost there, you got the Lebron family right now after all.

On topic, even in the realms of athleticism, you see how Jordan attacked the basket and see how Westbrook attacks the basket, and if you can't spot the difference than...

The player Westbrook reminds me of in many ways is David Thompson. They are both in that 6'3 range, freakish athletes, and unstoppable scorers. Westbrook just happens to play the PG. Thompson was a better shooter but Russ's midrange game has become a threat.

What about MJ's intelligence, patience and poise? That's like the biggest gap between them

Except you don't. Jordans quickness, nimbleness, and first step destroys Westbrooks.
