    Despite Canada being hockey dominant, the Raptors were the most searched Canadian team last year on Google. It's an ever growing fan base, because it attracts the youngest audience and fans from all over the country.

    Toronto is very much indeed a big market in terms of size and basketball. Not being able to attract FA's (referring to hawksdogsbraves post) is because the franchise has had a bad track record of on court results and no FA ( a really good one) wants to be a part of that. Not until the franchise contusionto brand itself in a winning environment.
