IIRC Jordan had scored the Last 12pts For his Team in the 4th Quarter and was up 3-2 not down 3-2. Jordan also played well for the series and wasn't being Passive and Scared until Game 6 or the 4th Quarter of Game 6.

Jordan told Kerr to get ready for the shot and again was up 3-2 not being Passive and scared most of the series.

Big shots by his Teammates but different scenarios.

SMH at the OP. Game 1 of the 97' Finals is one of my favorite games of all-time. I thought we could have a good discussion of it and he turns it into a MJ vs. LeBron thing.

Pippen, who was a game-time decision to even play (he was hurt in the final game of the ECF--he could basically only push off of one foot in the Finals) had a huge game--something like 27 points, 9 boards with 4 blocks. He took over the game in the 3rd to keep Chicago in it and then MJ closed the deal in the 4th. Game 1 set the tone for both the 97' and 98' Finals. Pretty much every game in those series was close.
