Probably kobe's retirement and official commencement of his fade to obscurity.

BS is bad. In every way. During games and how he treats his players in front of the media and personally.

Benching Young, Boozer and Lin.
Ok in my book. Just a little slow.

I think if you have "Scott" in your name, you're a terrible coach.

Re: Byron Scott is a terrible coach
He is still better than the team he is coaching.
1. Nick Young is shot 32.6% from the field since Christmas Day.
2. Before the Knicks game Jeremy Lin had not grabbed a rebound in 98 minutes.
3. Sacre is averaging 2.6 ppg when he plays between 7 and 15 minutes.

it's simple Scott and the Lakers are looking for players that give effort, if you play hard and produce on some level you'll get minutes.. if you don't you won't... All these guys are now on a game by game audition for the rest of the season. Lakers are looking at who'll be coming back next year, they can give a sh*t about who's feelings are getting hurt
young has been slacking off on defense all season and his FG% has taken a sh*t.. He doesn't deserve to be on the floor
Lin.. meh he seems to be marching to linsanity and not what Scott wants.. maybe Lin isn't capable of playing team ball but he's not coming back anyways.. maybe on a MLE level contract, anything else is overpaying him
Sacre...lol he's big and he tries hard but he's just not very good, somethings effort alone can't overcome, Sacre seems to be that kind of guy... Maybe a couple more years he'll get up to speed but right now I'm not sold...
Add it's funny how here on ISH so-called laker fans give Scott shit for not playing players x,y and z but then turn around and sometimes on the very same night will complain about him if the win a game or if they lose they're happy the tank is on...lol
It's clear lot of Laker fans here are just idiots... I hope they jump off the bandwagon and go find some other team to suck on
the Lin only fans are the worst, the sooner Lin is gone the better of Laker nation will be

Re: Byron Scott is a terrible coach
Cp3's Hornets woulda been a much better team under a different coach, because they weren't a really bad team on paper. (CP3, Tyson Chandler, young prime David West, JR Smith)

This.
I personally think Byron's done an ok Job considering what he's had to work with.
This thread should be about Doc Rivers uncanny ability to underachieve with great rosters.

Clips have the fourth best record in the NBA. DJ is a glorified dunker. Blake disappears in the fourth quarter. Crawford plays no D. CP3 is the only guy pulling his weight on that team, imo.

Cp3 will top it all off by making sure they get eliminated in the second round tho.
Guy's a bona fide choker and he gets more passes than Tim Duncan despite not being a winner.

JR and Tyson never played together.
The core of Chandler/West/CP/Peja was only remotely healthy 1 season and that's the one where they made noise. Not saying Byron was a good coach but besides Paul and West he had absolutely nothing to work with during most of his tenure
