    Default Career 1-1-1-1-1 50% 2P

    That's >= 1 pt, 1 reb, 1 ast, 1 steal, 1 block on 50% 2P shooting for their careers.

    Only 17 players have managed that since steals and blocks have been recorded. Who do you think has the highest PER of the bunch? Might surprise you.

    Donyell Marshall!!

    Most random name I could think of that likely meets the most difficult categories... steals and blocks.

    Dude still sporting a high PER (31.8).

    He's increased his PER about 5 each season. Next season will be around 37. GOAT by age 25.

    What is the maximum PER?

    there's none.

    It's a relative stat.

    Do you even know what you're talking about?

    So there's no theoretical limit? No such thing as the perfect game? I'm sure there has to be some sort of limit. Humans can only do so much in a given amount of time, even with perfect stamina and no mistakes. We could say if a player played only one minute at their absolute best, given all possible chances (get the ball right away, etc), what sort of stats could they put up?

    Anyway, I was only kidding about Davis going up another 5. It is interesting that he has improved that much so far, though.

    Yep, I'm rather more bummed out about not having the Per 100 Poss to put many things in perspective.

    So close... DRob's career PER 26.2 and AD's 26.3.

    Yeah, that too. I'm wondering though about Wilt's minutes. If you play every minute, are there times when your intensity is less to compensate for never having any rest? If Wilt back then played the sort of minutes superstars do now, would he have been more productive per minute? My guess would yes for him and the other high stats guys back then who played 42+ minutes.

    But still, per 100 would be nice to know.

    I guess perfect PER would be someone with averages 35/15/5/3/5 shooting 75% in 40 minutes. I don't think it's humanly possible in today's game better numbers than that.
