gosh you went straight to the best of the best right there!
How about Bob McAdoo in his Laker days? Or Bill Walton on the Celtics? Both of them at end of days though and they were injured a lot.
Ray Allen has been just amazing as 6th guy these past few years too

Re: Who is the best Sixth man of all time
Hard to tell exactly, you got different "types" of 6th men...
Scoring/Shooting:
Eddie Johnson
Terry
Crawford
Ricky Pierce (could be in the all-around also)
Fred Brown
Curry
Vinnie Johnson
Gordon
McAdoo (6th man either him or Coop at some point; could also be all-around)
...
Defensive:
Bobby Jones (at some point could be said all-around off the bench)
Starks
Rodman (before starting, even though Microwave was more of 6th man)
McMillan
Bill Hanzlik
Quinn Buckner (believe he was something like a 6th man at some point)
Don Chaney (was he close a 6th man at some point?)
...
All-around:
Manu
McHale
Hondo
Detlef
Cooper (could be in the defensive also)
Kukoc
Odom
Walton (could be also in the rebounding/defensive too)
...
When taking everything into account I'd probably go with Ginobili as the overall best, for his longevity and success at the spot.
When you talk about peaks as 6th man it's hard to say but the best are Hondo, Manu, McHale, Detlef, B. Jones, Ricky Pierce, Walton, Cooper...

Very good NBA starter

Its only Manu and McHale as far as winners go. IDK why staying a starter is so important and prestigious. AI did not have to go out like he did.

Good college starter

No love for Ricky Pierce?

Definitely one of the best ever. Very good scorer, could do it very "quickly" too, and he could play D.
