Something I noticed about John Wall against Westbrook
I never paid attention to jumping ability until I saw the effect it had on Lebron's ability to finish at the rim. I noticed Westbrook jumps alot higher and from father distance than Wall.
Its probably the reason Westbrook is a better scorer.

he really is. he jumps from so far out, i'm sitting there thinking he's gonna lay it up but then he slams the ball down so ferociously.

Westbrook gets the most amount of wide open mid-range jumpers I've seen any player get, I was watching the first quarter and he missed at least 3 WIDE OPEN FT line jumpers, all he needs is an Ibaka screen.
Westbrook is by far the quickest and most explosive PG in the league, which is why he gets a lot of easy scoring opportunities, more than anyone else.

He is far from being the quickest. Most explosive, yes.

Westbrook is more explosive than Wall. Wall seems lankier with longer strides.

Agreed. Rose, Teague, wall and Aaron brooks all may be faster. But WB is so violent that he is almost unguardable.

doesnt really matter Wall had a huge block on him on the break at the end of the game and miller with no vertical at all was schooling westbrook all game

If I were an OKC fan I'd trade WB for Wall straight up, I think he'd be a much better fit.
Way more swag too.

I don't think so. Wall can't score as easily, and OKC already lack scoring options outside of Durant/Westbrook.

He is a much better playmaker though (much to do with the fact that he looks to pass first) and would love feeding kd, morrow etc for easy 3's

Durant can't be the only guy on the team who creates his own shot on a regular basis. Also, I would not be relying on Morrow to be a big part of an offense. Teams wouldn't need to collapse on Wall like they do Westbrook.. which is what brings Durant a lot of shots as well.
