Default Greatest shot in the history of the game

No one on this site props up MJ more than I, but let's be honest.....

This is the greatest shot in the history of the game:

There is no greater shot than a shot that saves a players career, and I'm not talking about Ray's career.....

    All context accounted for...

Jordan, Game 6 vs the Jazz in 98.

Ray saves it and then LBJ solidified it in game 7 with 37

    Mj shot was better (98).

He took his legacy into his own hands and cemented his GOAT'ness.

It both defined and ended the greatest era in NBA history.

Ray shot only saved what turned out to be a disappointing mini-dynasty by a bunch of whiny mercenaries.

Mj's 98 shot wasn't the best. He committed an offensive foul. For a shot to be the greatest shot, it must adhere to the rules of the game. Getting a "no call" simply because you are Mj doesn't constitute it as being the greatest shot.

It doesn't matter IF it was called. It's the fact that it SHOULD have been called that matters. Rules are rules, and anyone watching the game knows that it should have been called. Why should the rules be bent or broken just because MJ is the one committing the foul?

I guess we should say the same about championships.
