He averaged 12 and 7 last season on 54% shooting.

In four games this season 14 and 8 on 52% shooting.

He's 22 in his third year.

I don't think he will forget how to play by the time he comes back.

I don't understand why teams refuse to double Harden... especially when Houston runs a pick and gets the switch. Just double him hard on every pick and hope the rest of the Rockets don't beat you.

Seems like what opposing teams have been doing hasn't worked out very well.

If I was playing against the Rockets, I'd double Harden every time. I know Beverley has been knocking down 3's at a pretty stupid percentage, but I'd take a Beverley 3 or Ariza 3 over a Harden drive every day of the week.

we've been missing starters all season. with a relatively healthy squad we should, and did, decisively beat you. no it doesn't say we're the best in the league, but right now it's working as intended.

If they try to double before he gets the ball on the 3 point land it will leave easy basket at the paint, also Harden can go to the post where doubling there will leave wide open 3 points shoots, also you can't double on transition and Houston love to turn defense into offense.

They have try to double Harden with the ball before and he has made some great passes to wide open player 3 point player and they have gotten burn.
