It was a perfect trade, Dieng would get 0 minutes on Utah

Re: Re-visiting the Trey Burke trade
Dieng will turn out to be most valuable player in the deal. Burke doesn't seem to have the heart to become a game changer.

This isn't the Utah with the Jefferson,Millsap,Kanter,Favors rotation
Their best backup big is Rudy Gobert?? Dieng is probably better than Kanter too

Who cares? At the time their PGs were ****ing Jamaal Tinsley and Diante Garrett. When you're set at the 4 and 5 you dont draft a backup big. You get a starting PG since they didn't even have one who would be a 4th guard on any other roster.
Before you start, don't even try and convince me Shabazz is good or a PG
Edit: Rereading this I come off pretty rude, I don't mean to say Minny didn't win the trade, I think they did cause I don't like Trey Burke, but it was really a good trade, not a landslide win for either.

Yeah I agree at the time it was a good trade for both teams. Can't fault either team. Right now though I think Wolves got the most out of it with the way Dieng has been showing himself and with Burke taking minutes Exum could be filling. Both came out good though, not as if it was a blockbuster deal for either side though.

I would say that was a pretty good trade for both teams. Wolves already had a point guard in Rubio and Utah had a lot of young bigs who need playing time.

Jazz needed a pg. Would those guys even be playing for the Jazz?

Obviously you haven't seen either play. Kanter is an offensive and rebounding talent and Gobert is unique force. Millsap wasn't gone yet either not to mention they have the rights to one of the best players in Europe.

Unfortunately they didn't get a starting pg until the 2nd round. Sadly they've left him in Spain to continue tanking.
