Michael Jordan sets all time record for futility. perhaps the worst player ever
OMG jordan needed 23 shots per game over wilts 22 shots per game in order to average 0.01 more ppg
lol
look at jordans misses compared to wilt and kobe
11.5 misses per game
kobe missed 10.7 shots per game
wilt missed 10.4 shots per game
OMG
jordans a f*ckin bum
as if he needed the most shots per game ever to get the most points per game
what a f*ckin bum

both jordan and kobe should burn and die
pretty obvious theyre not truly great for being less efficient than big men

Re: Michael Jordan sets all time record for futility. perhaps the worst player ever
Why are we comparing a top 2 all time player with somebody who isn't top 30?

no this isnt a jordan/barkley discussion
edit* my bad. i should have said "no this isnt a jordan/lebron discussion"
i forgot you were the lesser popular roundmound

I know. That's why I said 30 and not 10. This is a Jordan/Kobe comparison. They're in different leagues.

Jordan highest PER in league history
11.5 misses per game
kobe missed 10.7 shots per game
wilt missed 10.4 shots per game
Jordan 11.4 makes per game (50% career FG)
Kobe 8.9 makes per game (45% career FG)
Wilt 12.1 makes per game (54% FG)

no it isnt
you're getting ahead of yourself.
my OP clearly states its a jordan futility discussion and how he set the benchmark for inefficiency in his slight lead over wilt chamberlain with PPG but his huge lead over FGA's

You literally compared their FG missed in the OP. So yes this is a Jordan/Kobe thread. Wilt is irrelevant. You can't even call the league he played in the "NBA". Weak era.

kobe shoots a ton of threes and long 2's though
his fg% takes a dip. but he makes up for it by hitting a good enough 3pt percentage to equal over 50% output
plus he gets to the line more often per shot attempt. which is why kobes points per shot is nearly identical to jordans
1.30 to 1.31 i believe
so who cares
what matters is that we're exposing the irrelevant point of being less efficient than a big man while either having more total points or PPG
its inevitable for a shooting guard to need more shots to achieve the same output
i'm just pointing out the same thing jordan needed that kobe needed to catch the all time record holder

And?
He's less efficient. No one is forcing him to take stupid shots.

Yeah... except Jordan has the highest efficiency rating in NBA History while having the highest PPG all time.
