Re: Pau Gasol at the age 34...
He is loving every moment of playing for a team, under a superb coach, that actually plays team basketball. He was elite under Jackson and at 34 he has been great so far under another great coach.

I read this the other day
It's a big deal, however, all those players have at least 20k points, right?
They're a bit ahead, however, Pau has 300ish less games than the guy with less games in that list, so there's time.

He should have been the 2010 NBA Finals MVP.

Would be the GOAT role player finals MVP alongside Kawhis one last season

Gasol > Kawhi in the finals. Kawhi is Cedric Maxwell-esque in the NBA Finals.

Kawhi and Gasol are equal in the finals in that they both won their matchups
So if Gasol > Kawhi to you, then that means Kendrick Perkins > Lebron

Does it seem like Pau's playing with a renewed vigor this year?

Like Duncan, Allen, Nash, Kidd, Dirk, Camby, Mutombo, Manu, Pau, Billups, Garnett....
That steep early 30s decline doe

Not having to carry a shit team with an incompetent coach where you're the scapegoat for everything will do wonders for your vigor.
