So, why was Lebron scared to participate in the Slam Dunk Competition?

I never understood why some wanted to see him in a dunk contest but in the same breath say he can't do anything besides the tomahawk?..........He says he not a contest dunker ....what more do you want?

Well previous years he would have been great to see. He dunks with such power and gets so much air. But his dunks aren't super crazy as dunks. They are crazy athletically. I think this year would be a bad time for him to do it if LaVine and Wiggins and those guys get in.

That said I think it's important for the competition to get some star power in. Like... do something. It's not just Lebron. All of the stars pass on the competition.
