    I don't feel like getting into semantics, but no, T-Mac in 2013 for example wouldn't qualify. I'm referring to players who never got even marginal playing time in the Finals

    Maybe Steve Nash. IDK this is a tough one. Oscar never made the finals while he was still in his prime.

    George Gervin, Dominique Wilkins, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Pete Maravich, and Chris Mullin are all good candidates.
