Re: Money or power. Which would you want?
sure money can buy you power. but power can buy you so much more money if you know how to use it. it could get you things that money alone could never get you. i would take power every time.

Re: Money or power. Which would you want?
Power.
Take a look at what power denotes.
"An organisms ability to manipulate its environment. Speed X Strength. An organisms ability to do work etc. etc. "
You can command people to do your bidding.
Money is a medium of exchange for services.
So why not directly have those services given to you just by virtue of your own volition?
Think Fidel Castro just beckoning forth a lccal Cuban honey to fornicate with that night. He could very well be $2million in debt. But power and influence granted him an army of people.. it granted him a cabinet of supporters. It created the FUKKING ILLUSION that this guy was God-like and subsequently magnetized women to obey him unquestionably. Same with Kissinger.
Or think of 'the old question would you rather be Goku or the richest man in the world. When you're physically mighty.. the FUN is in hunting deer to nourish your appetite, winning status with the power of your verbal wit, conquering foes to win humans respect which facilitates bonds conducive to happiness, and inevitably people will want to house you lol.
So become powerful.

Fidel Castro is an okay example although most people would not have the personality to be him. One week as him with no money and most people would be thrown out and executed.
Goku though? lol we're not asking money vs a supernatural power. A more suitable comparison is being richest man vs being mariusz pudzianowski.

Re: Money or power. Which would you want?
already addressed but yeah the question doesn't make sense .. power and money go hand in hand .. if you have power and influence, chances are you're very well off .. if you have power but not a lot of money then you just think you have power .. power and influence goes to the one who has the goods

Reign of Error
Re: Money or power. Which would you want?
Money is a form of power, and true power is usually able to control (or check the influence of) money in some way.
The most obvious example is Janet Yellen: she may not be a billionaire, but she literally controls the money supply.
The president can get the whole military-industrial complex going through his decisions on war and peace.
Congressmen control the budget, and can wreck an entire industry if they so choose.
Note how easy it is for a congressional aide to become a lobbyist and earn a huge salary.
Freedom, happiness, and a sleepy conscience, however, are far more valuable than money and power. You're better off being a moderately well off university professor in the South of France or Italy, with good friends and good food, or a Buddhist monk who doesn't need anything, than say Richard Nixon, whose life must have been a nightmare.

Re: Money or power. Which would you want?
Power overall is better.
In capitalist countries like the US money is power, so there is no difference. All powerful people eventually become rich.
Name a powerful person in the US that is not rich?
In many communist countries Power = the good life
Money = hanged from a tree

Blank out. If power doesn't work without money then it's not really power.
