The only one being obtuse is you - I was clearly mocking the use of +/- to compare LeBron's and Kobe's performances against Orlando. A stat that is so heavily reliant on the performance of team mates is not a sensible stat to use in this instance.

Wade shot something like 65% for an entire series and didn't have a great supporting cast. Miami was stacked and nearly anyone could have replaced Lebron and won that season.

"Average" seems pretty harsh to describe Kobe in the 09' finals and especially Lebron in the 12' finals.
Kobe had his shooting struggles but still put up good numbers. Getting to the line and still scoring a lot, distributing the ball
Lebron played really well throughout the 2012 postseason, with the Finals being no exception.
Wade played great in the 06' finals, although some of the officiating was atrocious.

Sure it was. But relative to the rest of history, it didn't really garner much reaction. No one really cared that much about it. Seemed to be brought up more after Lebron's 2012 run for some reason though.

It's only the most talked about 4th title for anybody in history. What else do you want?

And what does the team's result have to do with individual performance?
38.5, 8 , 8 on 48% fg
vs
32, 6, 7 on 43% fg and 30% fg in fourth quarters.
