Going to be great to watch him leave Minnesota once his contract is up too.

    Says the guy from Toronto.

Wiggins will stay in Minnesota. Amazing fan base and a great city. He will bring us a ring.

He'll stay because you say so ? There's literally no incentive to stay, especially if the team sucks in his final years.

Amazing fan base ? Home attendance since 2001

Yeah, truly amazing fan base. Same fan base that wasn't even selling out playoff games when KG was still playing for them.

If your expecting a ring, your management might want to try drafting the right guys around their franchise player. Could have had a line up of Curry/George/DeRozan at worst to compliment Kevin Love from the draft.

He is much more likely to return to his home country Canada and play for Toronto than stay with Minny and win a ring.

That isn't being mean, its just the truth.

I don't even mind if he didn't come to Toronto. But he sure as hell isn't likely to say in Minnesota either.

How is still a win for Minn.? Wasn't the Cavs trying to trade the no. 1 pick just prior to the draft?

Didn't Minn. have a chance to get Wiggins then?

If only he was on some sort of "restriction" after his rookie contract was up...

Maybe, but not if you ask the vast majority of Cavs fans on ISH who waxed poetic about how it was a bad trade and they'd never do it because they had all the leverage. They went on and on about how they'd end up being able to keep Wiggins and base a trade around Bennett + Waiters and picks

I did say after his contract in my first post. He's obviously going to stay for another 7-8 years before he leaves unless he already gets traded by then. No way he jeopardizes guaranteed money.
