What exactly is Durant better than LeBron at again?
At the end of the day, kobe is better than bran. And you know why, hes not stupid to model his game to Oscar instead of Jordan. And if bran is already stupid then how much for his fans. I guess sheeps gonna sheep. LOL

Hard to say. Remember that his numbers and averages will go down over the course of his career. And KAJ had unreal durability in addition to his longevity. Shit, the guy was dropping 23 ppg at 38 years old on great efficiency.

He might do it, but it certainly won't be "easy". That said, I do think he has a better chance than Lebron since his game is more adapted to longevity.

    That's ****ing impressive, but:

    First 7 NBA Seasons:

    LeBron- 15,251 Points, 3,810 Assists, 3,861 Rebounds, 955 Steals, 482 Blocks
    Durant- 14,851 Points, 1,882 Assists, 3,751 Rebounds, 681 Steals, 529 Blocks
    Jordan- 16,596 Points, 3,018 Assists, 3,186 Rebounds, 1,412 Steals, 548 Blocks

MJ played only 18 games in his 2nd year, BTW.

Lets not forget Kobe: 10,658 Points, 2,060 Assists, 2,458 Rebounds, 714 Steals, 320 Blocks

I was gonna post his stats as well, but limited it to perimeter players.

    Understood.
Just sad that MJ burned out twice, denying himself the chance to break KAJ's record.

KD does have a chance, but he has to change his game once he crosses 30. More high post skills, destroy little guards.

The GOAT GOATing. If he didn't get injured in his second season he would possibly have 2000+ more points,

Only if he showed in the Finals, this would be more impressive.

KD basically the same point wise with Lebron. He'd be be ahead if not for the lockout season. Come trolls, calm yourselves.

Kevin Durant certainly has an opportunity to become the all-time leading scorer in league history. Of course, staying healthy is the key and that is no guarantee because it would take him a decade of good health and playing at this level to get there.

But he's been averaging about 2300 points per season, with the exception of the shortened season during their labor dispute, over the last five seasons. He could be at 38,000 or points at the time is 35 years old.

It's possible but far from a given. He should certainly finish top five all time.

Yeah people forget that KAJ was very durable. He never missed more than 20 games and missed significant time only twice in 20 years (in the 70's--his teams went 3-14 and 7-13 without him).

    Chamberlain - 19,739 Points, 1,933 Assists, 12,725 Rebounds, and ∞ Blocks.
The GOAT scorer. His career averages are deflated by changing roles later in his career but no one could score as much as him. People cite pace but no one was even close to him. The second highest scoring season in the 60's was 35 ppg versus Wilt's 50 ppg. When MJ was scoring 37 and Kobe 35 there were other players in the same era scoring 32-33.

As to the OP, Durant has a shot but it is tough because you need durability, longevity and you need to avoid injuries that diminish your ability to reach that kind of career mark.
