Personally thought McDaniels should have been the pick. Early is better from 3, but McDaniels is projected as a better defender. Ariza would have been a perfect fit basically, but there was almost no way to get him. Idk Washington would have done a S&T for him and they would have needed to clear a lot of salary to sign him outright.

I have a feeling that Ariza will be a bad fit in Houston. But would have been a great fit with the Clippers.
