I hope the Lakers don't pick him up. Randle should get all the minutes he can to develop.

Lakers are thinking long term they don't need short term solutions (if you consider Boozer a solution)

Build slow, make it stick, get what you need for the long run

this is the first year where they've had the ability to redesign the team from the ground up, they don't need to fall back on the old ways of retooling on the fly when all that does is kick the can down the road. that was fine under the old CBA all it does now is stick a team in limbo and handcuff them

They created a plan last year to keep the team financially flexible that will work with the new CBA and all it's ins and outs.

It'll take two maybe three years to get the team where it needs to be.... no need to panic after 2 weeks of off season and fall back into old ways that don't/can't work anymore

if you sign boozer, it's a 1 year deal on the cheap. won't hurt a damn thing imo.

If needed Lakers can create about 9 million in cap room, that money is better spent on youth and or developing players that can help in a few years, not a guy who's going to be gone in one...

Lakers aren't making any noise this season, no reason at all to think short term solutions... bring in young guys on 2 year contracts and see what they got to offer...

Anybody BUT Boozer. Have you watched this guy play? He's next to garbage. The only use he has at this point is defense. And even then he needs to come off the bench. The funny thing is he's never been worth what he's been paid. The only time i found him mildly useful is in Utah.

2013 he lead the league in double doubles - last year he lead the bulls in scoring he is a big 250 lb skilled post player I will even go out and say better than gasol everyone that critisizes him lets me down cause I go to these boards in order to listen to strong basketball minds... What ever team that gets boozer is going to be lucky

Not even worth it. They'll tread water with him or without him.

It's unfortunate Kobe's signed his career away with LA. They should do him a favor and trade him to a contender somehow because at this point LA should be going for full tank mode. They've already traded for the asian sensation so you should be all set revenue wise.

Drive the tank for the next two seasons I say and stack up on talent.

There is no possible way they can salvage this season. I mean there starting line up looks like ...

    Sacre
    Randle
    Henry? / Swaggy
    Kobe / Swaggy
    Lin / Nash?

If Kobe is on any sort of maintenance program this team is lottery bound. Even if he's not, tbh it's a lottery season for the Lakers.
