I'm thinking you either didn't understand the thread or didn't think those answers out too well.
Reggie Miller was surpassed by multiple teammates late in his career (Artest, Jermaine, Stephen Jackson).
Hakeem was awful at the end of his career (averaged 7/6 and came off the bench a bunch with the Raptors and wasn't close to the best player the last few years in Houston as well).
Dirk as a rookie averaged just over 8 points (40.5%) and 3 rebounds.

^ It is obviously easier if you have only been in the league 2-3 years. That is why in the OP I suggested only current players that have been in the league 10+ years.

No he wasn't.. Lebron finished top 3 in MVP race tool.. Lebron has aways been best player on team even as a rookie.
