All-time 1st team and 2nd team - Including what year.
All-time 1st team
PG: Magic (1986-87)
SG: Jordan (1991-92)
SF: Bird (1985-86)
PF: Duncan (2002-03)
C: Russell (1961-62)
All-time 2nd team
PG: Oscar (1961-62)
SG: Kobe (2005-06)
SF: Lebron (2011-12)
PF: Malone (1989-90)
C: KAJ (1971-72)
Here I'm not just looking at the stats, but also the ability to control the game and take it to another level when needed.

You couldn't bring yourself to put Lebron in the first team just because you know Kobe can't make it.

Interesting take with Russell who was SECOND TEAM ALL-NBA in 61-62, behind you-know-who...

Re: All-time 1st team and 2nd team - Including what year.
Most of the time someone puts 2012 LeBron over 2009 LeBron I think they didn't watch both players and over simplify everything to championship = better player. 2012 couldn't average 40 ppg in a series and he couldn't take over a game the same way he had done 3 years prior. Or maybe he could, but we definitely didn't see it, whereas it was obviously evident in 2009. If you take 2006 Kobe over 2008 or 2009 Kobe, then 2009 LeBron should definitely be above 2012.

Both Wilt and Russell had superhuman stats in 1962.
But I'm not sure anyone could play with 62 Wilt in any meaningful kind of way.

First Team:
PF: Duncan 02-03

C: Wilt (take a pick...65-66, 66-67, 67-68...most dominant center of all-time)
SG: MJ 90-91
PG: Magic 86-87
Second Team:
PF: Dirk 10-11
SF: Bird 85-86
C: KAJ at his PEAK, either 70-71 or 71-72 (but including post-season..70-71)
SG: Kobe 05-06
PG: Oscar 62-63

As far as peaks, probably yea, still very close and I got Karl above on the all-time list due to longevity (giving him the edge) and other "things".

Chamberlain ABUSED Russell EVERY single season they were in the league together. In the 61-62 season, he averaged 40 ppg against him in 10 H2H games. But he was even more dominant, overall, in the 64-65 post-season, and all of his 65-66 and 66-67 seasons (both regular season and post-season.)
I have posted the numbers before, but he was routinely outscoring Russell by 15 ppg, outrebounding him by five per game, and outshooting him by 15% in their H2H's.

In the first two round of the 2009 playoffs, Lebron played very much like he did in 2012 and 2013.
The way he played against Orlando was kind of detructive to his team.
