Do people actually expect Kobe to put up 20/5/5?
Like realistically, like not trolling?
Unless he's allowed to chuck and handle the ball a TON then he's not putting up those numbers (quote me on that).
Last season he put up 13.8/6/4 on 41% and 6 turnovers per game. Now he's a year older and less in shape. Stop with these unrealistic expectations for him.

He won't. That's why you have Nick Young on the team.
A little less beef and some more sushi.

He played 6 games last year lol.. took 11, 6, 9 ,15, 14, and 18 shots in each game.. you know how long ago a stretch of games happened where kobe took less than 10 shots in a game b2b while healthy??

20 is easily feasible for Kobe, given that he's in good health coming into the season he'll be a focal point on offense (who else are they running the ball though)

Honestly, its not hard to put up stats in the NBA if you gun for them. It doesnt mean youre having a valuable impact. It CAN, but it doesnt necessarily. Most of the game's ppg stat stuffers are really overrated.
It doesnt matter what numbers Kibe puts up, his value on the court is not likely to be significant.

that's my point. it's going to take A LOT OF GAMES for him to get back where he was. did u see how poorly rose was playing? that was 10 games, yes, but it was obvious it was going to take him maybe even until the allstar break to get back into rhythm and he was in much better shape than Kobe.

if kobe puts up 20ppg it will be on almost 20 shots. if he puts up 5 assists he's going to have about 3 TOPG
