Help excuse is old and pathetic
So I keep hearing that Lebron is not getting enough help from his team offensively. Although other factors are present, I decided to just take a look at what kind of offensive help he has received from their main bananas. I then took Kobe 2010 and Jordan's 3peat.
Lebron: Wade, Bosh and Allen: 41.6 ppg on 51% FG
Kobe: Gasol, Peace and Fisher: 37.8 ppg on 41% FG
Jordan: Pippen, Kukoc and Rodman: 36.1 ppg on 41% FG -96
30.3 ppg on 36% FG -97
34 ppg on 46% FG -98
So Lebron is getting more offensive help on a higher percentage from his main cogs, but we are going to act like he has no help. Again no knock on him...just his stans...he is more than capable to put his mark on the game. I looked at his scoring and it amazes me how he will have a dominant quarter then won't do anything until the last minute of the next quarter. GM 3: 14 points in the first, then 2 in the 2nd, 2 in the 3rd and 4 in the 4th. He needs to shoot plain and simple, this series needs a epic game from him, not this stand around being passive crap.

Hence other factors....but lets quit acting like he is getting no help on offense. Also speaking about defense he may be the biggest liability this series besides Wade

Pretty much. Their offense isn't a big problem apart from game 4. They are shooting 49.1% FG and shooting 42.9 from 3. They are only averaging 93 points in the Finals tho.
The Spurs are just picking them apart offensively. They are shooting them out of the building. The Heat gott'a step up defensively, but it might be too late. They are also missing rebounding opportunties, but the Heat should be used to it. But they are still allowing the Spurs to shoot 54.2% FG and 46.7% from 3. You aren't likely to win a game if the Spurs shoot like that.

no , he isn't. Heat having no rim protector with a lot of slow players is the problem. He can't stay close to the player he is guarding because he knows he would have to help.
He is the only guy on heat who has shut down ginobili and parker completely when he was on them.

Re: Help excuse is old and pathetic
The problem with him forcing the game offensively is that it's against his fundamental playing style.
He would absolutely excel with a non-ball dominant scorer. Like a James Worthy.

The point of this thread is that he is getting enough help on the offensive end. His 17 shots a game are not enough to impact the game like he could be if he took like 25. The only time he did he forced Green and Leonard to guard him...guess what they both got into foul trouble...guess what? They had to sit out, which no longer makes them available on offense, which also gets them out of sync, which also impacts the Spurs offense.
