I like the fact that the Spurs players seem angry. They don't want the ring ... they want to destroy the Heat.
I'm moderately optimistic about the Spurs' chances. Historically, they have reacted well after suffering devastating losses :
- Fisher's miracle shot in 2004 -> Spurs won the NBA title in 2005
- Manu's foul in 2006 -> Spurs won the NBA title in 2007
I remember seeing that play live. It was a thing of beauty.
Problem is Brooks playing Ibaka on Diaw. Shit was so goddamn stupid. Why not just put Perry Jones at the 4 so Ibaka can stay inside like he was going to anyways. Difference is this model doesn't give them wide open shots allowing for even easier ball movement.
My god Pop coached circles around that jackass and it appears it still wasn't enough for Brooks to lose his job.

Durant clearly goes out there to play for stats. I'm sure he wants to win too, but this year it was just blatantly obvious that he was out there, laying out the carpet, and trying to look dominant statistically in the regular season.
He needs to stick to getting to his spots and moving the ball instead of holding the thing and looks for an assist.
Your boy on your team is doing what exactly? Mind = Shattered

Durant was trying to be like Lebron instead of Durant

Very good NBA starter

And both of your stars are not very smart players at this point in their careers. Westbrook doesn't know when to hold himself back and Durant's passing vision and decision making out of double teams is pretty unimpressive.

Re: Kendrick Perkins on the loss: Thunder were "outsmarted."
I won't hesitate to give credit to San Antonio for being the better team this year over Oklahoma City for the following reasons (not in any particular order):
1. There is a huge coaching mismatch on the sidelines
2. San Antonio has a huge advantage in depth over OKC.
3. San Antonio has several post players better than anyone for OKC
4. Spurs are a much better perimeter shooting team
5. The Spurs are a much better passing team that leads to easier shots.
Those are the primary reasons why San Antonio won and credit to them, their organization and their fans. Oklahoma City needs to improve this off-season in each of those areas.

Ibaka: IBAKA

Diaw would be the best playmaker on the entire Thunder roster and have the best post game on the entire squad while being a solid defender with the ability to make a outside shot so therefore he would easily be there 3rd most skilled/talented player.
