The only happened because MJ was blocked on the other end.

I don't know if any of you were an arrogant primary scorer on a team, but in my experience your defensive motivation level goes through the roof if the ball is ever stolen from you or if you're blocked. Humiliation generates immediate defensive hustle, typically for exactly 1 possession, before that extra energy fades.

My favorite play would be someone who blocks a shooter on the top of the key, recovers the ball for the steal and goes all the way for the dunk. I remember seeing Pippen and Eddie Jones doing it a few times.
