Most enjoyable NBA season
For me it has to be 2007-2008.
1. The return of the Celtics as a power house was fun to see.
2. Big time trades(Kidd to Dallas, Shaq to Phoenix, Gasol to LA)
3. Great individual play(Kobe, Lebron, Paul etc.)
4. Crazy ass Western Conference
5. So many memorable/meaningful games in the regular season.
Just a great season of NBA basketball.

For me it was 2005. Had graduated HS a year earlier, Spurs won their third championship putting that .4 debacle in the past, Manu (my fav player) broke out as an AS, beat the #1 seed in the whole league (Phoenix) and league MVP (Nash), Pistons were my favorite Finals opponent and the Larry Brown-Pop relationship was rich, Horry had some big moments. Just a great year.

The '05 Finals was the best. I know a lot of people hate it, but literally every basket meant so much to the game. The definition of a grind-it-out series

It was intense. Two best defensive teams in the league, and all time great D. Pistons trying to defend their title (a season later, 4 pistons were picked for the All Star game: Billups, Rip, Big Ben, and Sheed). Both teams won close games and both teams won in a blowout. Score was tied 57-57 going into the 4th quarter of Game 7... that's as close as it gets. Prob a soft spot for Pistons fans, naturally.

lakers barely beat the celtics that year. I honestly feel that the celtics may have been the better team

They were. Lakers beat them without Perkins and with 20+ FTA in the 4th quarter of game 7. Most the fouls were BS. Celtics were hacked on the on the hand and they couldnt get any calls.

Re: Most enjoyable NBA season
2000-2001 because it was really my first year actually being serious about the NBA and statistics and all that stuff... Since MJ wasn't around and Hakeem was pretty much done I found a new favorite player in Tracy McGrady after watching him come up out of no where and become one of the best scorers in the game. Since then I've been a loyal Tracy McGrady fan, and it's also the year I got to see another player I liked make it to the Finals ..that boy Allen Iverson

another reason 05 was badass was because it was my first season doing fantasy bball. Looking at my 4 teams now (thanks to yahoo's profile) and it's funny seeing guys like Nenad Krstic, Troy Murphy, Kenny Thomas, Andres Nocioni, T.J Ford, Brevin Knight, etc, on some of my teams. Their (statistical) value changed so much not long from then, relative to some All Stars, yet they were worthwhile and decent at the time.

Did he say they didn't deserve? Even LeBron admits 2011 was on him. 2011 made 2012-13 that much sweeter
