I essentially agree with this. Both babied about the same, but get the feeling Harden plays for the foul (consciously takes advantage of quick whistles), while Durant seems like a tougher cover for the average defender and somewhat oblivious to his Jordan treatment.

Harden: 22 shots, 20 FTA's

Harden shot 5 FTs off intentional fouls and a tech free throw, so you might as well take 5 off and say Harden had 15 FTA

It's also that James Harden doesn't shoot nearly as much as KD does. Harden attempts less than 17 shots a game while KD nearly attempts 21 a game. Harden also shoots more 3s a game, almost half of his FGAs are 3s.

KD's usage rate is 6% higher, he gets the ball more, he has a bigger role as a scorer, mostly because Russ has been out for most of the season & hasn't been 100%, so he's had to score more to make up for it, hence the extra FTA.

Harden actually draws contact, he'll occasionally get the phantom calls but he gets hit hard lots of times. Durant just gets touched and he's headed to the line.
