Also, weren't you bitching at me for using a 1 game sample size in the other thread?

The difference really isn't that big. a little over a FT a game. Harden also chucks more 3s & overall attempts less shots. KD attempts 4 more shots while also taking 1 more FT in the same amount of minutes, basically.

7 game difference should make a disparity of maybe 50 FTA for any other star. For Durant, it's a disparity of 150 FTA

It's also that James Harden doesn't shoot nearly as much as KD does. Harden attempts less than 17 shots a game while KD nearly attempts 21 a game. Harden also shoots more 3s a game, almost half of his FGAs are 3s.
KD's usage rate is 6% higher, he gets the ball more, he has a bigger role as a scorer, mostly because Russ has been out for most of the season & hasn't been 100%, so he's had to score more to make up for it, hence the extra FTA.

KD bias? I hate the damn guy. I can't stand him because of 2012, when Lakers had their last chance at a deep Playoff run with a healthy roster. He just had to ruin it with his stupid pull up 3 at the end of Game 4

Actually Kobe lost that series for you guys more than KD won it. Careless turnovers at the end of game 2, and shooting 2-10 in the 4th quarter of game 4 was all Durant needed.

Harden actually takes it to the basket though, so it makes sense for him to have 7-8 FTA a game. He definitely gets babied, I'm not denying that. I don't even think there's really a big disparity at all. They are both over protected by the refs. I just find it odd that OKC fans are trying to hate on Harden when he gets the same, if not worse, treatment than Durant. It would be like LeBron fans making fun of CP3 for flopping.

Game 2 the turnover was pretty bad, but Steve Blake had a wide open corner 3 & bricked it
Game 4 Kobe missed a lot of shots, but overall it was our team not communicating enough to make the right play. Brown's offense was garbage anyways, it consisted of Kobe ISOs, that's all it basically was. I guess Kobe ran out of gas at the end of those games. Also didn't help that our starting PG, Ramon Sessions, played like total ass every game of the series & Pau stopped giving a fk. In Game 4, Kobe tried passing the ball to Pau in the post & he ****ing fumbled the pass, which led to a turnover, which led to the KD three to win the game. Kobe averaged 39 7 4 on 45% shooting & only 2 TO's in the last 3 games of the series, so it's not like he didn't play well enough for us to win those games.
Kobe had a good series overall, it shouldn't have come down to the 4th quarter in Game 2 or Game 4.
To think of it, we were only 2 plays away from being up 3-1 in that series. OKC just got very lucky in some moments. One was Steve Blake missing a wide open shot to win the game, two was Pau fumbling the pass & giving OKC the chance to score at the end of the 4th quarter with the game tied.
