    Too bad Walton was injured near the end of his 77-78 season. He had led his team to a 50-10 record when he went down. I believe he played a few minutes in the playoffs, but was obviously just a shell.

    And technically, I guess you could claim that Rick Barry and Dr. J missed the NBA playoffs in their primes.

    Kareem missed the playoffs twice in a row during his prime.
    Oscar missed the playoffs thrice in a row in his prime.
    Barkley missed the playoffs in '88 and '92.
    KG missed the playoffs from '05-'07.

    unfortunately true. there is so much trolling it gets annoying. however, once in a while, there is some genuine quality basketball talk. that is what keeps me coming to ISH. If only there were valid alternatives though.
