I seriously hope that more advanced stats that are kept by nba teams will become available for free and en masse in the next decade.
I'm talking about shots with lots of time on the clock and their effect on team(o &d) efficiency, milking for TS (harden, durant), play through physicality, effect of FTs on play (durant, harden), defensive planning (lebron 2011 finals), correct switching and its importance(noah, lebron, kg really shine here), offball defense/offense and it's importance in the half court (tp, rip..), screen slipping(jordan,pippen, wade), decoy impact (ray allen offense celtics 2008-2010), defensive over-attention (artest!) etc.

Right now the available primary stats (ppg, rpg, apg) are easily skewed and you get bullshit arguments. Also, improved visualisation would be nice.

Empty stats implies your stats have no value on your teams results. Durant's numbers drop far more in LeBron's when going from wins to losses. Please tell me how that does not make LeBron more of an empty stats player than Durant, whom this thread implied was an empty stats player.
