Heat have a real shot at acquiring Pau next season

LeBron is leaving Miami, this year or next. Why would he stick around with Wade and Bosh taking up most of the salary cap?

Depends really. Pau wont get many touches with the Heat team. You already see how Lebron and Wade's efficiency inside really alters any post players to be effective for the Heat. Its a drive and kick half court offense for the Heat. Outside of setting picks for Ray Allen, the Heat runs sh!tty offensive sets. It's more of Lebron or Wade dribble dribble dribble, try to find a way to get the double team as they drive, move the ball for open 3.

Pau is going to slow the Heat down tremendously, just because the ball will never get to him in the post, and Pau is one of the worst transition defensive player in the NBA. The last time he sprinted down to play defense will be his first time.

He's putting up better numbers than last year, but his stats are a bit inflated because of the Laker tempo (they play no defense). When the game is slowed down, you get his full impact (on offense and defense).

Gasol would be perfect for Miami. The offense would be unstoppable and the rebounding would improve greatly. Also while Gasol may not be a powerhouse defender he has legit size and would defend Hibbert a hell of a lot better than anyone on Miami's roster would.

The question is will Lebron resign with Miami? Idk if he will...and if he does I think it will be in the summer of 2015 after opting in this summer.

Duncan put up 18/8 on 52% against pau in the playoffs last year.. he put up 19/12 49% against the Heat last year.

Stop it,, close numbers and you lose Bosh's perimeter hedging. please..
