Re: Milwaukee Bucks... Huge news
Can Ray Allen get his Bucks jersey retired, then have it converted into a seattle jersey once they are sold there?

You didn't know about Milwaukee? That must be why you rep Wilt so much... you never knew about the rapings Young Kareem gave your boy Chamberlain back in the early 70s.

Hmmm.... I recall game recaps of BOTH the '71 and '72 WCF's, and in which an OLD Chamberlain was almost universally recognized as having outplayed a PEAK Kareem. Time Magazine went so far as to claim that Wilt DECISIVELY outplayed KAJ in the '72 ECF's.
Of course, that was an OLD Chamberlain. Considering that a PRIME Wilt was FAR more dominant against the likes of Reed, Bellamy, Thurmond, Dierking, and Imhoff...all of whom a PEAK Kareem faced later on...
makes you wonder how much a PRIME Wilt would have carpet-bombed a PEAK Kareem with, don't you think?

You're going to act like the Bucks didn't focus more on West and Gail? Of course Wilt could tryhard on offense against Kareem when he wasn't the focus of the defense.... meanwhile Kareem was to main focus of the Laker's defense. Not the same circumstances.
And oh yeah, prime Wilt dominated because the rules favored any tall strong guy back then... not much skill needed. But he still couldn't dominate Russell could he?

You tell me...
the two played in 143 H2H games, and all Wilt did was basically average a 30-30 game every time he stepped on the floor against Russell...all while outscoring him by nearly 15 ppg, outrebounding him by 5 rpg, and outshooting him by 10% from the field...on AVERAGE.

So you non-too subtly avoided my other point.... Lazeruss running from am argument, seems you have nothing to back him up now.
Russell got his team involved and shut down Wilt's teammates... And let Wilt get his points. But yeah, sure, Wilt "dominated".

Just curious...do you have ANY substantiation that Russell ever "let" Wilt score his points?
BTW, I found this game fascinating...

Take a real close look at the 4th quarter of that game...
Oh, BTW, BOTH men played all 48 minutes of that game...

The team is staying in Milwaukee. Owners are very important to team success. If they get an owner that actually cares about winning than that would be great for their fan base.
