They were extremely well balanced on both offense and defense. They finished 2nd in offensive and defensive rating to the Bulls. Payton was DPOY and an all star along with Kemp (20/10 player). They had 5 guys on the team posting at least 12 PPG, shooters, a solid bench, played great team defense, had an experienced coach.

They were basically the Clippers with better defense and their star PG being healthy.

Because Hall of Famers usually lead their teams to impressive regular season records.

They also won 63 games in 94 and 61 games in 98. Not to mention the went 55 plus in 93, 95 and 97.. That's a pretty good run. Without looking up the stats, they probably had the best win $ in the 90s besides the Bulls.

How do you figure the 'league was terrible'? They played a great defensive team in the Bulls. And they themselves were great on D. Jordan was held to 42% and Pippen 34% shooting.

It was an awesome defensive era, but I guess if they're not playing guys like the Spurs did Lebron- giving him 10 ft of space on his jumpers, that means the league was terrible

This. Any of those teams would win 80+ games in today's league. I hope more people respected older eras given how less people overrate them. Fans like you and me never overrate teams of past eras whereas fans of current teams say things like " heat would win in 4 against Jordan's double 3-peat bulls."
