Obviously to make money. Wearing a sleeveless shirt in public, outside life post college where bro tanks are acceptable, is generally seen as very trashy. This does 1 thing and hopes to do another. 1. lead to more jersey sells because some idiots want 1 of everything/want to buy into the trend. 2. lead to wearing basketball jerseys in public being socially acceptable because its sleeved, so people will buy more jerseys.

They already have those team tight fitted shirts with the name and number on the back. That's basically a sleeved jerseu. Why have they introduced this crap? It looks likd the players are playing in a pickup game at the park.

Sleeved jerseys are annoying but if used bigger sleeved jerseys instead of using one that is clearly to small for him that wouldnt happen.
