Yeah. Already accepted a while ago that this season is essentially an open tryout for younger players, and a push to get a good pick in a really good draft class. But D'antoni's a good coach for a tanking team because the team can be entertaining while losing

That's a good way of putting it. Honestly that's the best way to deal with this season, just....accept it and hope for the best in the next couple of years

I don't even find D'Antoni's style of coaching to be entertaining. Watching the lakers giving up 120+ to every team in the league while getting blown out of the building isn't cute.
There has been talk of him returning as coach next season.
I can't fathom how that is possible.

Probably that. I mean, I'm just having a hard time imagining that there's anything more to take from this game other than "the Lakers are playing like shit and they suck". Maybe someone who's analyzed this massacre better than me will have something else to say.
