Yes he was. He averaged 23 ppg on 59% shooting in 2011. He definitely was capable.

It's not a bad thing. I love Timbug, but if he's getting in, then Dwight is getting in.

I think Dwight is already pretty much a lock with the accolades that he does have, one of the greatest rebounders and shot blockers ever, especially at his size and has led a team to a Finals. I think he will win a ring as a journeyman at like 35-36 years old like Zo did with Miami and will make it 1st ballot HOF.

He's having a 10th straight season, where he's averaging double digit rebounds and points, career 18 ppg scorer on 58% shooting, not that bad of a career, imo.

Then why hasn't he done it? What is he 28? Year 10 for him in the league? Especially in the weak era of bigs, I think he just relied on his athleticism.. his athleticism has dipped a lil bit and he just doesn't, never had the skill set to do so.

That's why I said if he never got hurt. He definitely could have done it. You're acting like it wasn't possible for him to literally put the ball in the hoop one more time per game.
