Should the NBA change its logo from Jerry to Michael Jordan?

Personally I find it strange that a white player is the logo of the NBA

I think the logo is perfect as is. It represents history and it conveys an important part of the game that anybody can do (dribbling). I'm thinking that so many people want it Jordan going up for a dunk, but that isn't as representative of the league IMO. Also, Jordan has enough branding and the NBA is better off not living in his shadow.

The Jordan jumpman logo is a Nike brand and the league has a contract with Adidas, what do you think?
Also maybe Mercedes Benz or Coca Cola should change their logos.

They didnt make jerry west the logo because he was the goat. Infact at no time was he ever considered that high.

So why make jordan the logo?

If anything. They should make lebron the logo.. Only hes come close to the level of disapointing finals performances and colluding team up rings
