lebron fans need to worry less about catching kobe.. they should start worrying about staying ahead of durant. ( some say hes already fell behind ) but as far as all time status goes. durant could swipe that spot by taking the player of the decade awards/majority opinion for the 2010's

kobe already has that 2000's era locked up.. does lebron wanna be known as a inbetweener like shaq?

people remember the best of the best based on era/decade... always have... inbetweeners never get as much credit or respect..

when people say 80s.. they think of magic and bird... when people think of 60's.. people think of russell and wilt..

90's.. jordan.... works both ways.. say 80's era.. 90's era.. people think of 1-2 names

60's = russell/wilt
70's = kareem
80's = magic/bird
90's = jordan
00's = kobe
10's = durant?

it doesn't work like that.

duncan/shaq definitely had an era from 99 through 07

you could call 08-10 the kobe era, but 3 years is really short to be considered an era

honestly it will most likely just be known as 09 to whenever as the Lebron era...durant can hop on that if he wins this year and they battle it out over the next 3 or 4 years...that would give them like 09 through 18 in which one of them was either the best player or playing in the finals.
