Another great season for the Spurs, regardless if they win a championship or not. As somebody who's lived in San Antonio since 1985 I'm proud of them and what they do in a smaller market and for a city with only one professional sports team. Tim Duncan is still the ****ing man, even at 37 going on 38. Will they win it all, who knows. Can they make it back to the Finals, probably. That alone says alot. Belinelli has been a key signing/steal, Ayres is better than Blair as big off the bench, and Manu looks to be playing with a chip on his shoulder (reportedly, he hit the weight room hard this summer and it shows in his shot/legs/jump). For all intents and purposes Spurs look about as good as last season which can be perceived multiple ways of course. Personally, I think the Spurs are like a Joakim Noah / Serge Ibaka (one of them in place of Tiago) away from being champions. Duncan + Noah would be beast of a front court. Greg Monroe on the current Spurs would be nice.

Even since trading Harden, our record against the Thunder has not been favorable. And yeah, Harden makes the Rockets a tough matchup for us but not as much as Dwight. Those boys destroyed us on Christmas day. Chandler Parsons shot the ball like Larry Bird.

I'm sure we will have to face one of them in the playoffs. But if it's both, then we are in trouble.

    Not good. That's the problem.

We destroy the teams we should beat (I think the Knicks loss was the only exception), but have struggled come the big matchups (Thunder twice , Rockets twice, Portland, Indiana, Clippers).

Who cares, they treat regular season like no tomorrow, this much more improved gsw team will beat them in 2nd round or wcf this year.

Great team but just not good enough. Sadly all these wins are for not.
I guess we could say they're "empty wins"

The Spurs don't care about the regular season, at all..

see them taking on GSW with their bench, AND WINNING.

So a scrub backup PG will take you from losing to them with their bench to beating them in a playoff series, when you lost in 6 last year? Ok...

No, but DO you realize that we got Andre iguodala and our younger players got better?

+Bogut and Curry both are 100% healthy(wasn't in that series) and david lee.

    Miller
    Barnes
    Dray green
+ either ezeli or j oneal is a good bench... and its not like u need to go 10-11 deep in playoff series like that.

    You guys should be scared.
