Nah, neither will be good enough to create such a "rivalry" and they are too close in age. I really think people overlook the age factor to help aid the fire. You don't want their peaks to crossover, otherwise there will be clear evidence to support one over the other.

It's not about being good enough to create a rivalry, it's about not being Intresting enough to get the media backing behind it. I swear 50% of the Lebron vs Kobe crap we see, was the result of the media comparing Lebron to Kobe from the moment he stepped on the court....Making all their battles nationally televised.... Dedicated entire hours on espn to the debate.

I love VC's reaction in that .gif, but I bet that wasn't John Wall trying to intimidate VC. I didn't watch the game, but based purely on how that .gif plays out, I'm sure it was one of those heat-of-the-moment, "I-made-a-spinning-layup-passed-two-defenders" hyped up gesture.
I'm sure VC was laughing just because he was thinking, "Cool, bro. I would've dunked that shit at your age."
