All they can hope for now is for Durant to take some of the shine off of LeBron. Look for them boosting Durant for the rest of the season. Although if he continues on his current path they will have to abandon ship and start slinging mud at him too as he approaches Kobe's legacy.

I have a really hard time believing Durant will ever average less than 27 a game in his entire career.

Re: LeBron back to averaging 27 PPG for the Season
I don't even like Kobe, but really? Rounding up for averaging 27+ ppg for a season? What the hell kind of math is this?
And Durant will probably have 13 or 14 in a row fwiw
I also love the arbitrary 27 ppg+rounding to try and fit an agenda.
Jordan averaged from his rookie year->2nd retirement in seasons he qualified for the scoring title

37.1
35.0
32.5
33.6

That's bad for them too because KD will be passing up kobe on the all time list soon enough

4 MVPs > 1
2 FMVPs = 2
3 rings as piggy back for Shaq = irrelevant.
