    yea it's a mental thing. I don't get why some people think it's fake. It does exist. certain players can focus more sharp during certain situations. Clutch does exist.

    I think SI did some kind of write up on the "clutch gene" a while back.

    Said people like MJ and Tiger Woods had it. And that's what separated them from the rest of the pack.

    absolutely. Clutch does exist.

    People like rrr3 who's overweight and never played any sports in his life do not understand.. It's what separate jordan, kobe, ray from lebron..

    Reggie Miller would occasionally have a horrendous shooting night, but everyone would still be scared to death if he somehow got the ball in the last possession. Robert Horry, of course, but in his later days he didn't play enough to be 'terrible all game'. Ginobili, Billups...

    Basically all streaky 3 point shooters with an 'assassin' reputation qualify for this description. Hot or cold, they're going to take that last shot, and they just might make it... Because of their history, everyone is going to be holding their breaths when that ball is up in the air.
